Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 28 March 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BTLX web application (the "Service"). The Service is currently in private alpha/pilot and is provided for invited testing purposes only.

1. Pilot status and no reliance

  • The Service may change, break, or be withdrawn at any time.
  • Outputs are provided for convenience and testing; you must verify critical information independently.
  • Do not rely on the Service as your sole system of record during pilot testing.

2. Eligibility and invite-only access

Access is limited to invited guests. We may revoke access at any time. You must not share invite codes or otherwise provide access to uninvited users.

3. Accounts and security

  • You are responsible for activities on your account and for keeping credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep your profile details reasonably up to date.
  • You must not attempt to bypass access controls or probe the Service for vulnerabilities.

4. Your content and submissions

You may upload documents and submit data (together, "Content"). You retain ownership of your Content. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your Content solely to provide the Service and operate associated workflows (including compliance tracking and verification).

You confirm that you are authorised to upload any document you submit and that you have any necessary permissions and consents.

5. Compliance workflows and verification

The Service may allow you to upload certificates and track compliance status. "Verification" within the Service indicates a workflow state, not legal advice. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

6. Acceptable use

  • No illegal, abusive, or harmful activity.
  • No uploading malware or content designed to disrupt the Service.
  • No scraping, reverse engineering, or unauthorised automated access.
  • No sharing confidential pilot information outside authorised testing channels.

7. Confidentiality (pilot)

During the pilot, non-public information about the Service (including features, workflows, and performance) is confidential. You agree not to disclose it publicly without permission.

8. Intellectual property

The Service and its underlying software, designs, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. Except as permitted by law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time, including if you breach these Terms or if we end the pilot.

12. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are posted.
